Your assistant has a dedicated phone number and can handle calls in three ways: inbound calls to the assistant number, outgoing calls that you instruct it to make, and scheduled warmup calls that bridge you in.

Call Types

Inbound Calls

Calls placed to your assistant’s dedicated number. Ariel answers, qualifies, and takes action.

Outgoing Calls

You ask Ariel to call a contact with a clear purpose; it calls on your behalf.

Warmup Calls

Schedule a call; Ariel dials the contact first, then bridges you in and records the call.

Inbound Calls

  • People call your assistant’s number directly
  • Ariel answers using your configured greeting and style
  • Captures intent, routes, and can schedule, take notes, or pass through key info

Outgoing Calls

Ask Ariel to call someone with a purpose (e.g., confirm a time, request details, qualify a lead). Ariel places the call and follows your instructions.

Typical flow

  • You provide the contact and the objective of the call
  • Ariel calls from the assistant number and follows your guidance and tone
  • Outcomes and notes are saved for future context

Warmup Calls

Warmup calls let you schedule a call for a specific time. Ariel will:
1

Call the contact first (from assistant number)

At the scheduled time, Ariel dials the contact using your assistant’s number to confirm they’re available.
2

Bridge you into the call

If the contact picks up, Ariel then calls you and bridges the line so you’re talking through the service.
3

Record for reference

The call is recorded for future reference and notes are attached to your timeline.
All calls handled through Ariel are recorded within your own assistant. Recordings let you review conversations later and help your assistant improve over time. These recordings are private to you and are never shared with anyone else.
You are responsible for ensuring call recipients are notified that the call is being recorded and for complying with all applicable consent and recording laws in your jurisdiction.
