Ariel Assistant integrates with your calendar to help manage your schedule and appointments efficiently. This guide explains how calendars work within Ariel and how to make the most of this feature.

Overview

Ariel Assistant can:
  • Access and manage your calendar events
  • Handle calendar-related queries
  • Add attendees to events
  • Share your next available time with trusted contacts when they call

What Ariel can do with calendars

  • Unified view across connected calendars
  • Check availability (working hours, buffers, focus time, time zones)
  • Propose meeting times and place calendar holds
  • Create, update, and cancel events (title, description, location)
  • Add/remove attendees and send invites
  • Share next available times securely with trusted contacts
  • Summarize upcoming days and meeting context

How it works

1

Connect

Link your calendar provider(s) from the app settings.
2

Sync

Ariel imports events and availability to build a unified schedule view.
3

Schedule

Ask Ariel to propose times or create/edit events. It respects buffers, focus blocks, and time zones.
4

Update

Reschedule, add attendees, or cancel. Invites and changes sync back to your provider. This only works for events that Ariel has created.
Today, calendars you share with Ariel are read‑only. Ariel can create events in your “Ariel Calendar”, which you can export to your other calendars via a subscription (ICS) so they appear in Google Calendar or Outlook.

Limitations today

  • Some advanced fields and series exceptions may be read‑only
  • Attendee response status updates can be delayed by provider sync
  • Enterprise admin policies may restrict certain actions
  • iCloud support not yet available
We’re actively improving integrations with Gmail and Outlook ecosystems — including deeper Google Calendar and Microsoft 365 features, faster sync, richer recurring event handling, and smarter conflict resolution.

Calendar Integration

Ariel provides a unified view of all your calendars in one place. When you connect your calendar services, Ariel automatically imports and displays all your events in the app. While you cannot edit imported events directly in Ariel, you can enhance them by adding contacts from your trusted network to the events. This integration enables Ariel to provide event details like location and description to your contacts when they call.
